The L.A Times reports that Tom Brady’s doctor who performed the knee surgery was very impressed at the speedy recovery the 2007 NFL MVP was making. Dr. Neal ElAttrache spoke to the paper and credited Brady’s determination to rehab as being helpful in his recovery. “With an average person, it would have taken probably twice as long to get range of motion and strength back.”
Brady, who was injured during the first game of the season last year, is expected to be at full strength when the Patriots open training camp this fall. With a team of veterans hungry to reclaim the stranglehold on the AFC East and league dominance, Brady will be determined to assure fans that letting Matt Cassell go during the off season was a good move. The Patriots offense, with Brady healthy, was nearly unstoppable during the 2007 season. Pats fans can only hope they see something near the production from their team when they have the ball this year.
